I am a passionate Yoga Instructor that creates space for people to find freedom from within by finding their own personal balance between the mind and body. With the belief that we are all happy at our core, I have found yoga to be an amazing tool to help attain and hold on to happiness.
My classes focus on keeping good alignment and controlling the breath. With a strong background in Hatha I like to incorporate a balance between the physical and mental aspects of practicing yoga. I take the physical practice slow with new students to first gain a strong foundation to build upon to help prevent injury.
Music has also been an outlet for me to express myself and find inner peace, which I like to incorporate into my yoga classes by playing live guitar during the final resting pose, Savasana. I have a huge love for learning new things and know that I will always remain a student; eager to grow and share that knowledge with others.
I am an E-RYT 500, initially studying in Nosara, Costa Rica at the Nosara Yoga Institution, and finishing my studies in Rishikesh, India at Shiva Yoga Peeth. I have over 700 hours of training and over 2,500 hours of teaching experience, ranging from Hatha, Ashtanga, Aerial, Restorative, Yin, Alignment/Beginner, Meditation, Fascia Release, Kids Yoga, Yoga for the Disabled, and Vinyasa. I believe there is a yoga practice for everyone and plan to help people find their practice as long as I can!I
