Sarah, raised in Boulder, Colorado, began her yoga journey at a very young age. Fascinated by the linkage of breath and movement in Vinyasa, she dove deep into her own personal practice to search for ways of cultivating energy through her every inhale and exhale. What incredible power we have in something we sometimes consider so subconscious, our breath! Yoga is the best way for us to put our mind and body in the same place at the same time.
Through the flow of both breath and movement, yoga has inspired me to put mindfulness into everything I do, on and off the mat. I hope to share my findings with yogi?s all over the world creating one large community, breathing and being as one. This dream brought Sarah to Bali, Indonesia in 2015, where she completed her 500 hour Yoga Alliance certification, specializing in Vinyasa.
Sarah enjoys teaching classes that are upbeat, rigorous, and breath oriented. While her classes are welcoming to yogis of all years, there will always be opportunities to up-level or modify, making the practice your own.
Sarah loves to give hands on assists, helping her students find the fullest expression of each asana for their body. She believes the safer you feel in a class, the more open you are to let your mind and body play with new boundaries.
