Sylvia began her yoga practice in high school, learning from a book as studios were few and far between at the time. Graduating from UC Santa Barbara she pursued a career in elementary education.
Later, she combined her passion for teaching with her passion for wellness. Returning to yoga, then discovering the benefits of a complimentary Pilates practice and training at Peak Pilates in Boulder, she earned certifications in both disciplines. Through yoga and Pilates, Sylvia hopes to inspire others to be their best, to find the good in all that life brings us, and to be playful observers of all that we are capable of not only in our practice, but in our lives.
